TelePresence Installation and Configuration Intermediate for UCM (TICTI-UCM)

The Cisco TelePresence® Installation and Configuration Intermediate Version 3.0 instructor-led remote delivery course offered by Cisco® Learning Services provides you with the skills and knowledge needed to install and configure Cisco Jabber® products, manage and provision endpoints, call routing, trunks, bandwidth management, call restriction policy, and conferencing.

Course Outline

  • Module 1: Initial Setup
    • At the end of the module a student will be able to:
    • Review SIP protocol
    • Review and configure times, regions, registration groups, device pools, global enterprise and service parameters including SIP domains for Cisco TelePresence solutions
  • Module 2: Endpoint Provisioning
    • Describe the types of phones and Cisco TelePresence devices that can be provisioned and register to Cisco UCM
    • Describe the provisioning and registration process and configuration used by Cisco UCM
  • Module 3: Cisco Jabber Configuration for On Premise
    • At the end of the module, you should be able to:
    • Describe the main features of a Cisco Jabber deployment
    • Describe the component parts of a Cisco Jabber for Windows or Mac implementation using Cisco Unified Communications Manager IM and Presence Service
    • On Premise using a Microsoft Active Directory database as a data sourceReview SIP trunks

    • Cisco TelePresence VCS registration
    • Cisco UCM registration and provisioning
    • Configure Cisco UCM and Cisco Unified Communications Manager IM and Presence Service Server for Jabber services
